Mildred Howard (b. 1945, San Francisco) is a multimedia artist known for assemblage and installation. She studied at the College of Alameda and earned her MFA from John F. Kennedy University.
Howard has received numerous honors, including the Lee Krasner Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship (2025). Her work has been exhibited widely, including at the New Museum and is held in collections such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She is represented by parrasch heijnen.
