Kara L. de Lambert is an alumna of Sonoma State University, where she earned a B.A. in Art History and a minor in Arts Management. During her studies, she worked at the University Art Gallery in Rohnert Park and the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in Napa. After graduating in 2012, she founded her own art consulting and curatorial business, Lynae Arts, and has since worked with emerging and established artists across the San Francisco North Bay Area. As the Curator at Imagery Estate Winery in Sonoma Valley, Kara has managed the Artistry Label Program for over 14 years. In this role, she has commissioned over 300 national and international contemporary artists for the brand’s wine labels. In 2015, she extended her education by completing the Core Course in Appraisal Studies at the International Society of Appraisers. For five years, Kara provided appraisal services to art and wine collectors. In 2024, she curated her first gallery exhibition, “Bloom!”, at the Green Music Center in Rohnert Park, followed by a juried exhibition at the University Art Gallery in 2025. Currently, she lives and works in Sonoma County, bringing over 16 years of experience to the fine art industry.
